hap first began as a seasonal staffing venture, supplying experienced, hands-on teams for festivals, sports games, and other outdoor events. A lot has been accomplished by our amazing team since then, like going from staffing 50 festivals in our first year to more than 200 in summer 2022 – including All Points East, Electric Picnic and TRNSMT.

Now, we’re the go-to staffing solution for some of the UK’s biggest festivals, events, and brands. In fact, we think it’s safe to say that if you’re seeing one of your favourite music artists in the flesh, there’s a good chance that a hap team will be there fastening wristbands, selling merch, and serving drinks.

The journey to this stage of our growth hasn’t always been smooth (anyone recall the global pandemic?), but our team has risen to every challenge with enthusiasm and determination – and we’ve got the numbers to show for it. Today, the hap network boasts hundreds of thousands of professionals – each one highly trained and raring to go.

Thinking on our feet 

Admittedly, when the pandemic robbed us of a whole summer spent listening to live music and watching our favourite sports teams from the stands, we were a little lost. But not for long. In true hap style, we were quick to think on our feet, drawing on our extensive staffing knowledge to pivot our business model and support various industries in the process. 

We provided COVID-19 support teams, specialist cleaning staff and warehouse workforces. And, as part of our commitment to getting the hospitality, hotels and events sector up and running again, we even expanded our offering to include chefs and other kitchen personnel

We’re here for you, year-round 

Now, we’re able to provide our reliable, quality service year-round – with fully trained staff ready to hit the ground running. Our growing roster includes all kinds of positions – from waiting and bar staff to kitchen teams and front-of-house roles, and even security, admin, promotions, and stadium staff.

Already, we’ve been instrumental in helping businesses such as hotels recover from the pandemic. What’s more, with a number of these organisations finally opening the doors to new locations after several delays, our tailored staffing solutions have given them plenty of breathing room to scale at their own pace.
