Sally’s journey with us began back in 2017 when she started her career at hap. Prior to that, she gained valuable experience working as a bar manager during ski seasons. When hap was established in 2017, Sally saw an opportunity that perfectly aligned with her skills and passions, prompting her to apply for a role with us.
Since joining hap, Sally has held various positions within the company, showcasing her versatility and dedication. From starting as a staffing assistant to eventually becoming the Senior Operations Manager, Sally’s growth within the organisation has been nothing short of impressive.
As we gear up for what promises to be an incredibly busy summer filled with festivals and events, Sally’s expertise will be invaluable. With over 250 festivals and events scheduled across the UK and Ireland, having Sally oversee our onsite operations is going to be fantastic.
Sally’s experience and leadership will play a pivotal role in managing the complexities of such a massive operation. Her attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to collaborate effectively make her the perfect fit for this role. At hap, we are committed to providing exceptional service to our clients and creating memorable experiences for festival goers.
We asked Sally what her highlights have been over the years at hap, and this is what she had to say:
- Navigating through the 2017 night shifts at Secret Garden Party which boosted my confidence to tackle any challenges thrown our way on-site.
- Juggling COVID test events alongside COVID test centres.
- I have fond memories of Austria/ SNowbombing on every visit, particularly enjoying Bicep’s performance at the Forest stage while snow fell around us.
- The anticipation of returning to the office in 2024!
