Instant 2 You could never have predicted COVID-19 and the impact it would have on their business. In order to support hospitals, companies and individual households effectively, they needed to almost immediately grow in size. That’s where we came in…
The roles
In order to deliver the product, we selected qualified warehouse staff and drivers who excelled in an FMCG environment. We also supplied experienced supervisors to ensure standards were maintained, and operations managers to make certain that deadlines were met.
What we provided
Instant 2 You had the product, but in the early days of the pandemic, they didn’t have the workforce to supply those who needed it. Our job was to identify candidates who had the skills to deliver on-demand quickly, and also agile enough to blend in with the resident Instant 2 You team. This meant embedding ourselves into their culture and supplying the best-suited talent.
From there, we created teams consisting of everyone from warehouse assistants to operation managers so that we could maintain a level of organisation. All logistics would be overseen by the senior candidates, whereas assistants would prepare the product for drivers. We gradually scaled with Instant 2 You, and then helped them to organically scale back down, without incurring any significant hiring costs.
